OUR NEW WEBSITE IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND IS THEREFORE INCOMPLETE. PLEASE BEAR WITH US AS WE PROGRESS…
Welcome to the website of the Rotherfield Millennium Green Trust CIO.
The Millennium Green was established in the year 2000 as an amenity space – a green lung for the people of Rotherfield and the surrounding area, run entirely by a group of volunteers. The Trustees manage the Green, supported by a number of wardens and other dedicated volunteers.

Our policy is to maintain, as far as possible, the natural state of the land whilst, at the same time, developing certain features such as the “formal area” at the Station Road entrance, the pond and the heritage orchard.
Our policy is to maintain, as far as possible, the natural state of the land whilst, at the same time, developing certain features such as the “formal area” at the Station Road entrance, the pond and the heritage orchard. A great deal of work has been put into enhancing the area for wildlife whilst at the same time providing access paths for those who visit and enjoy all the Green has to offer.

This website will tell you more about the Green, its facilities and the plans for its improvement. The Green is your your benefit, so we welcome your support, your comments, ideas and suggestions. To give us your thoughts please get in touch with us via the Contact page of this website.
